After a “severe accident,” Eamonn Holmes was stuck in traffic attempting a getaway with his wife Ruth.

EAMONN HOLMES has stated his dissatisfaction with his divorce from Ruth Langsford.

As he and Ruth Langsford set out on a trip away today, Eamonn Holmes, 61, expressed his concern. The couple were currently stopped in traffic due to a “severe collision” on the M25, according to the This Morning host.

“Why didn’t I stay in the back garden?” Eamonn wondered on Twitter. M25. South Mimms, clockwise.”

Along with his message, he included a photo of the bottleneck on the road, which he said was caused by happy Brits hoping to spend a day out in the much-needed sunlight.

Despite his displeasure with their current predicament, the actor stated that as the weather warmed up, he was increasingly concerned about the welfare of horses kept in horseboxes.

“No movement for at least an hour,” he continued.

“If we become hot, my first concern is for the animals in the horse boxes behind us.

“This has to be a major accident,” says the driver.

“Junction 25-26 owing to a car on fire – CLOSED,” said a fourth.

It comes after the father-of-four praised his fans for their support during his and Ruth’s first week back on This Morning yesterday.

“Hello there, good morning to you,” he remarked to the camera from the backseat of a chauffeur-driven sedan. Today is a beautiful sunny day, and I’m on my way to work.

“And a wonderful sunny day makes me feel very glad, partly because we’re back on This Morning this week, and we’d just like to thank everyone who has made welcoming Ruth and me back such a pleasure.

“After today, it will have been one week, with six more to go. And while we can’t guarantee that the weather will be like this throughout the race, we can ensure that we will be doing what we do best.”Brinkwire Summary News”.
