HOLIDAYS ARE VERY COMMONLY BOOKED IN JANUARY, AND THERE ARE MANY DEALS TO BE HAD.

Travelers may be tempted to postpone their vacations as the pandemic continues to loom.

This website talked to Paul Hardingham, a travel expert, about the best ways to plan a vacation this year.

Travel “will be less turbulent this year,” says Paul Hardingham, MD of Landal GreenParks UK, the UK’s fastest growing self-catering holiday brand.

Nothing, however, is certain, as Paul stated.

Travel restrictions remain in place around the world, so vacationers may be unsure when to book their trips this year.

“I think you could take a chance and book last minute,” Paul Hardingham said, “but I would recommend that you book early.”

He went on to say, “Book at least three to six months in advance.”

Pau recommended booking with a company that offers the Covid insurance guarantee.

If there is another lockdown or government restrictions on travel within the United Kingdom, you can get your money back or change your vacation date.”

Paul believes that booking early and on flexible terms is the safest bet.

“Book early,” he explained, “because if the summer ahead is anything like the last couple of years, we’ll see an influx of guests wanting to book the UK.”

“You couldn’t call what happened with international travel this year, and I believe a lot of people were playing it safe by staying in the UK.”

“That means that a lot of people will be late.”

Booking as soon as possible, in my opinion, will provide you with peace of mind, the property you want, and the best price.

“Because if demand rises, prices will rise as well.”

The recommendation, according to Paul, was for a vacation in the United Kingdom, as overseas travel is “very different.”

“Whether they let us in is a factor as well,” he said.

“Having to travel to the Netherlands on a regular basis for work, it’s been much more difficult to travel overseas now that I’m not in the EU.”

Covid restrictions and the UK’s post-Brexit status as an “outside” country made planning a vacation abroad “definitely more difficult.”

To be completely safe, Paul stated that the United Kingdom was a better option.
