‘Absolutely stunning!’ In Venice, Lady Kitty Spencer dazzles in a hand-painted D&G gown.
LADY KITTY SPENCER is a big fan of Dolce & Gabbana, having worn five of their dresses at her wedding in July. Kitty looked stunning in a hand-painted gown during the brand’s latest design show yesterday.
Fashion’s A-listers were invited to Dolce and Gabbana’s Alta Moda fashion show in Venice last week. Lady Kitty Spencer was present during the launch of the iconic brand’s Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, Alta Gioielleria, and Alta Otologeria collections, which lasted four days.
The four-day show, which took place at the Palazzo Ducale, a 14th-century Gothic palace in Venice’s Piazza San Marco, ended yesterday.
“Palazzo Ducale is the essence of Venetian art and cultural life and symbolizes one of the highest emblems of ‘La Serenissima’s’ rich history, which has captured the imagination of visitors wherever they look for centuries,” Dolce and Gabbana stated of their choice of site.
“Today, the #DGAltaGioielleria products will be presented at this shrine to Italian brilliance and cherished icon of craftsmanship.”
Kitty was one of the prominent faces invited to the memorable event, which also included Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, Kris Jenner, and Dame Helen Mirren.
Kitty wore a stunning gown designed by Dolce & Gabbana for the final day of the fashion show, which included the Alta Sartoria collection.
On Instagram, the 30-year-old posted two photos of herself wearing the gown.
“For #DGAltaSartoria,” her caption stated.
“A hand-painted gown from @dolcegabbana’s first ever Alta Moda Collection in 2012, ‘Taormina.’”
Kitty’s gown initially appeared on the runway in 2012 in Taormina, Sicily, at Dolce & Gabbana’s first ever Alta Moda fashion show.
At the time, the exquisite gown was part of the line.
The gown had a sleeveless bodice and a tulle skirt that flared out slightly and touched Kitty’s feet.
A broad golden beige silk ribbon is tied around the waist.
This honey-colored tint matches the dress’s overall color scheme.
The cloth is painted with clusters of pastel orange, pink, yellow, and white flowers on the bodice and skirt.
The skirt’s hem is also encircled by a border of white embroidered flowers.
Although the cost of Kitty’s gown is unknown, all gowns from Dolce & Gabbana’s 2012 Alta Moda line are in the hundreds of dollars.
The hand-painted was paired by Kitty. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
