A Deleted Scene from Venom: Let There Be Carnage Reveals a Different Ending.
When Venom: Let There Be Carnage ended with the revelation that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man had ties to the symbiote and that the events of those films would impact future Venom installments, fans erupted in laughter.
However, it appears that there was a different ending that would have made the internet go crazy as well.
Eddie and Venom are seen on a beach at the end of the film in a Vudu clip, debating one of the most talked-about aspects of the franchise: Eddie’s seemingly romantic relationship with the symbiote.
In the video, the symbiote tries to persuade Eddie to admit that he adores it, and things go as expected.
The effects in this ending appear to be a little off, which is likely due to the fact that it didn’t go through a final round of edits after it was decided to go in a different direction with the movie’s ending.
Surprisingly, this makes some eye shots look even more comic-book-like.
It’s available to view in the gallery below.
We also get a fun “letal protector” drop, which is the name of the first Venom miniseries in the comics, as you can see.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be available digitally on November 23rd, with the 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release date set for December 14th.
Only one bonus feature is included on the DVD: “Let There Be…
“Behind the Scenes” is a special look at what goes on behind the scenes in the action
It takes viewers behind the scenes of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, from concept to stage, green screen to film screen, and all of the intense stunts captured.
The 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and digital releases include a total of seven special features.
Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) continues to battle the shape-shifting extraterrestrial Venom in Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
When serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) acquires an alien symbiote, Brock and Venom must put their differences aside to put an end to his reign of terror.
With the revelation that…something…happened in the final moments of the film, which has the potential to bring him into conflict with Spider-Man and, by extension, other Marvel heroes, the film became one of the biggest hits of 2021, and set the stage for a potentially even bigger threequel.
