It’s become a running joke for teens to refer to Fortnite as “Fork Knife” — to the degree that the developer, Epic Games, now makes references to the meme in-game. First, there was an actual Fork Knife truck. As of season 8, there’s also a literal giant fork knife in the landscape … that you’ll probably want to steer clear of for now.
Located near Fatal Fields, the Fork Knife is a large indent on the ground where a chest can be found. Currently, there’s a strange bug there that makes it so that anyone who steps on a particular tile will instantly get killed by the map, like so:
There’s currently an instant kill tile in the Fork Knife area north of Fatal Fields, be careful! #Fortnite

By the time you read this, it’s possible that the glitch has been fixed — Epic is aware that it’s there, and promises to take care of the issue “shortly.” It’s too bad, though, because for most fans, this is a feature, not a bug. After all, what else do you expect to happen when you’re playing around knives?
“Dont fix it, its a knife, and its dangerous,” one Twitter user replied. “It’s not killing you it’s eating you,” another responded.
