Wes Nelson wades into Jezza axe row: ‘Bring back Jeremy Kyle’

LOVE Island hunk Wes Nelson has spoken out about ITV’s decision to axe Jeremy Kyle.

The Dancing On Ice runner-up has revealed he wants the show to return during a live Instagram session.

Joining fellow islanders Jack Fowler and Josh Denzel, Wes made the comment in front of 6,500 people as Jack went live from their holiday complex in the Maldives.

During the stream, the lads invited fans to show off their talents by asking them to request to join the feed.

The trio jokingly branding their search for the weird and wonderful DBS [Do Bits Society] Got Talent.

After one girl from Cannock showed them how she would “bark the alphabet” and turn her eyelids, the lads recoiled in horror.

Speaking immediately after the girl logged off the chat, Jack said: “She was kind of cool though…”

Josh continued: “She was blessed.”

Meanwhile, Wes added: “Bring back Jeremy Kyle, Jesus Christ.”

Trying to silence his mate, Jack interrupted: “Woah. Let’s not comment on that.”

Jeremy Kyle was yanked off air after a guest died shortly after filming.

Announcing the news that the show will not be returning, Carolyn McCall, ITV’s CEO said: “Given the gravity of recent events we have decided to end production of The Jeremy Kyle Show.

“The Jeremy Kyle Show has had a loyal audience and has been made by a dedicated production team for 14 years, but now is the right time for the show to end.

“Everyone at ITV’s thoughts and sympathies are with the family and friends of Steve Dymond.

“The previously announced review of the episode of the show is underway and will continue.

“ITV will continue to work with Jeremy Kyle on other projects.”
