Upset social media influencer claims low-cut outfit saw her denied entry to Louvre

According to an Australian social media influencer and model, the iconic Louvre has a strict dress code.

Newsha Syeh claims she and her wife were turned away from the famous French museum because of her low-cut outfit, reports Yahoo.

The 25-year-old has over 231,000 followers, but none will be able to see her edgy sense of style or smouldering emotions posing in front of the Mona Lisa after she was denied entry, she says.

Syeh says she was “heartbroken” to not be allowed in, sharing on Instagram a photo of her dress with the caption: “Yesterday at the Louvre, I was stopped at the entrance by a guard for my outfit”.

In her Instagram story, she alleges the man made “disgusted” facial expressions and swore at her to cover up.

Syeh also shared a screenshot from a Google search asking about a dress code, which yielded results saying there was no formal policy.

However, on the museum’s website it does seem to suggest guests don’t wear swimsuits, enter bare-chested, naked or barefoot.
