THE original MTV cast are set to make a comeback for the reboot.
MTV series The Valleys is set to return half-a-decade after it was scrapped.
The Welsh version of beloved series Geordie Shore is reportedly in the process of being rebooted with the original cast.
It’s believed that Natalee Harris is one of the names returning to TV screens, and producers are also thought to be keen to bring back Lateysha Grace.
A TV source told The Sun: “There are talks about The Valleys being brought back but it’s top secret.”
A date has even been set for filming and they’ll use old and new cast.
“Lateysha is top of the list of who MTV want to star as she’s gone on to bigger and better things.”
According to the source, producers are also hoping to refresh the cast with a host of new faces too.
Following the show’s axe, Natalee appeared on Ex on the Beach before later being seen on Celerity Botched Up Bodies.
The Valley’s ran for three seasons, and faced criticism during its time on air over its portrayal of Wales.
Welsh singer Charlotte Church slammed the series previously, and claimed it was “exploitative” and “a horrific representation of the country that I love.”
Kerry Taylor, MTV’s director of television, said at the time: “It’s absolutely not about stereotyping…I feel whenever you make a successful reality show, there are always some accusations.
But the show is absolutely celebrating these nine young people and their mentors. It’s very much about their individual stories.”
