Strictly pro Karen Clifton champions abs in tighter-than-skin gym wear

KAREN Clifton may just be this series’ dark horse.

The performer joined the Strictly Come Dancing professional set in 2012, with her now-estranged husband Kevin Clifton, 35, following suit just one year later.

Karen Clifton, 36, has been paired up with Holby City actor Charles Venn, 45, for the 2018 series.

And the pair are already getting to work, as the performer updated fans from the rehearsal room today.

Taking to her official Instagram, Venezuela-born Karen posted a short clip of herself and Charles practising their moves.

Showcasing their loose hips, the duo put on an impressive display, considering it was their first day training one-on-one.

Looking very much the part, Karen celebrated her toned body in a skintight yellow crop top and matching leggings.

With her abs of steel stealing the spotlight, Clifton flashed a winning smile as she got familiar with her celeb partner’s rhythm.

Captioning the moment for her 123k followers, she wrote: “Dip, baby, dip.”

“Wow. That is hot”

Unable to hide her excitement, Karen continued: “Great first day with this one. Bring on the rest of the week.”

In response, one fan raved: “Can’t wait to see what your dance is. You guys are going to be amazing.”

“Wow! Looking good,” an impressed follower remarked.

Equally enthralled, one Instagram user noted: “Wow. That is hot.”

Karen and her estranged husband, fellow Strictly star Kevin, announced their separation earlier this year.

Discussing their split during a joint interview on BBC Breakfast, Kevin said: “We just thought…

“Because there has been so much speculation, it’s best to be honest with everyone and not be scared of it.

“Privately, our situation has changed, but professionally, we’re still dancing together. We’re stronger than ever, really.”

Earlier this summer, the duo stayed trued to their word and toured the nation with their Kevin and Karen Live show.
