MADRID, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) — Spanish shares gained on Friday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.43 percent or 38.20 points, to a total of 8,993 points.
A total of 12 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.
Consultancy and technology company Indra A advanced 3.22 percent, followed by Spain’s second-largest bank BBVA and infrastructure company ACS that rose 2.62 percent and 2.09 percent respectively.
Casing company Viscofan lost 4.26 percent, being the top loser of the blue chips. Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa went down by 2.04 percent and supermarket chain DIA decreased by 1.38 percent. Enditem
