Steven Gerrard’s side slumped to a 1-0 defeat away at Livingston on Sunday.
In their first Scottish Premiership slip-up since losing to arch-rivals Celtic at the start of September, Dolly Menga’s 34th-minute goal was the difference at Almondvale Stadium.
And it means Rangers now trail league leaders Hearts by eight points in the table.
Up next for them, though, is a Europa League showdown with Rapid Wien at Ibrox this evening.
The Austrian outfit are down in eighth in their own division, winning just four of their opening nine matches.
Gerrard does not have many injury issues to deal with, yet there will be no Lee Wallace, who is both injured and not in their European squad.
As usual, Allan McGregor should start in goal.
He is likely to sit behind a back four consisting of captain James Tavernier, Nicola Katic, Connor Goldson and Borna Barisic.
In midfield, Ryan Jack could come back in after recovering from injury to start alongside Scott Arfield and Ovie Ejaria.
Gerrard has tended to flirt between 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 and 4-1-4-1 setups for the Gers, but he is likely to go with a three attackers in front of his own supporters.
Ryan Kent could start on the right flank, with Kyle Lafferty deployed on the left.
And that leaves Alfredo Morelos to spearhead the Gers frontline.
