R Kelly launched from jail after thriller baby assist cost

R KELLY has been released from jail after £122,000 he owed in child support was paid by an unknown person.

The Cook County sheriff’s office said the money was paid on Saturday morning and the singer was released from the Chicago jail shortly afterwards.

It is not yet clear who made the R&B singer’s payment.

As he walked out of jail, he said: “We’re going to straighten all this stuff out.”

The singer was prepared to pay up around £46,000 of what he owed to his former wife, Andrea Kelly, and their three children.

But the judge required the full amount and ordered that he be detained.

His attorney said the R Kelly was facing financial issues.

It comes after R Kelly was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse last month.

He pleaded not guilty to all the charges and was released on bail after being jailed for three nights.

If convicted, he faces three to seven years in prison on each charge.

His latest stretch in jail came after a heated interview with CBS This Morning.

It was his first since his arrest in February.

He said during the interview: “I didn’t do this stuff. This is not me.

“I’m fighting for my life.”
