PREGNANT Meghan Markle has been spotted stepping out in a major royal event without her engagement ring.
The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry attended the Commonwealth Day service with the Queen at Westminster Abbey yesterday.
They stepped out with a host of senior royals including Kate Middleton and Prince William, Camilla and Prince Charles.
But eagle eyed fans of Meghan quickly noticed something missing on the fourth finger of her left hand – her engagement ring.
The missing band, which Harry used to propose to Meghan two years ago, includes diamonds from Princess Diana’s jewellery.
Its sudden disappearance sparked fears among some fans yesterday – despite the fact Meghan was still wearing her wedding ring.
A doctor suspected the missing ring was due to Meghan’s fingers swelling as she reaches the final stages of her pregnancy.
Dr Sarah Jarvis told The Sun: “Swollen feet and fingers are extremely common towards the end of pregnancy.
“In many respects it’s normal, because you have much more fluid circulating round your body in pregnancy. The swelling itself is rarely a concern.”
Many of Meghan’s fans agreed that swollen fingers was the cause – but some weren’t convinced.
One wrote on Twitter: “Her wedding ring’s the same size and therefore should be missing as well (if her fingers are swollen) but it’s not.
“This is VERY suspicious. Did Harry grab the ring back?”
Another said: “Have you noticed engagement ring is gone? It could be out for cleaning or something else…
“Woo, I must say I love all the drama, conspiracy theories around Meghan.”
Despite suspicions, her Duchess of Cambridge sister-in-law has appeared without her engagement ring in the past.
During her pregnancy with Prince Louis she stepped out at a hospital without her sapphire engagement ring – believed to be due to swollen fingers.
