Lisa Armstrong strikes on from Ant McPartlin with new break-up TV present

ANT McPartlin’s ex-wife is thought to be shopping around her own show.

Lisa Armstrong reportedly is set to be the star of her own TV show.

Ant McPartlin’s ex is thought to be planning a new series that’s inspired by her split from the Britain’s Got Talent star.

Her ex-husband of 23 years has since moved on with the couple’s former personal assistant, Anne-Marie Corbett, while Lisa remains single.

Now a source is claiming that Lisa is pitching a new show to broadcasters in the hope of it getting picked up.

An insider told heat magazine: “Lisa’s been pursuing lots of TV projects, but she’s most excited about something she’s pitched herself.

“It’s a reality show that will see her work with female celebrities, teaching other women how to empower themselves after a break-up.

“It has a working title of The Strong Girl’s Club, and Lisa has already started putting feelers out to female celebrities that she knows who have been through break-ups, people like Kerry Katona and Megan Barton-Hanson.

“It’s all very positive and not about trashing your ex – just about moving forward in life.”

Despite Lisa hoping that the show will have a positive spin, the source added that those close to Ant are “worried” that it could be seen as a personal attack on him.

It comes after Lisa reportedly bagged herself a role behind the scenes on TOWIE.

It is claimed that she will be working as a makeup artist behind the scenes, according to the Daily Mirror.

A source revealed: “As well as her regular stint doing makeup on Strictly, TOWIE is another opportunity which she has grasped with both hands.”

Daily Star has approached Lisa’s rep for comment.
