ITV producers said they were faced with ‘creative discussions’ on how and when to censor the swear words.
ITV had to censor its new documentary about the Parachute Regiment — removing 44 f***s, five c***s and numerous s***s from one episode alone.
The Paras: Men Of War was stripped of swear words over fears the show would trigger complaints and lose its prime time 9pm slot.
The show, which started on Thursday, follows new recruits in training.
Executive producer Neil Grant said: “It presented us with interesting creative discussions with how many ‘f***s’ we can have and what time we can have them.”
The Sun told on Monday how viewers complained about swearing in Channel 4’s SAS show Who Dares Wins.
