ISIS bride Shamima Begum’s dad BEGS UK to take her again – ‘did not realise she did mistaken’

JIHADI bride Shamima Begum’s dad has begged the UK to take his daughter back as he claims she has done wrong “without realising it”.

Begum’s dad Ahmed Ali, 60, told the BBC in Bangladesh that the ISIS bride should be allowed to come back to Britain and face prosecution.

Earlier this month he blamed the UK for his daughter joining the terror group and said she should never have been allowed to leave the country when she and two East London school friends left home after being groomed online.

He said today: “She has done wrong, I apologise to everyone as her father, to the British people, I am sorry for Shamima’s doing.

“I request to the British people, please forgive her.

“She was underage at that time, she couldn’t understand that much. I suppose someone influenced her to do that.

“I admit that she might have done wrong without realising it.”

It comes after the Jihadi bride’s three-week-old son died from pneumonia and getting ill in a Syrian refugee camp.

The 19-year-old and newborn Jarrah were living at a desert refugee camp after being told she had been stripped of her British citizenship.

He was her third child, with none surviving.

A paramedic at the scene told the BBC the tot was having breathing difficulties and was taken to hospital on Thursday morning.

But the baby couldn’t be saved and died at 1.30pm local time after getting a lung infection.

Ali isn’t the only one to slam the Government over the handling of Begum.

Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott blasted her counterpart Sajid Javid for stripping her of her citizenship after she left Britain in 2015, aged 15, to join ISIS.

Ms Abbott said: “The tragic death of Shamima Begum’s baby, Jarrah, is a stain on the conscience of this government.

“It is against international law to make someone stateless, and now an innocent child has died as a result of a British woman being stripped of her citizenship. This is callous and inhumane.”

But Piers Morgan hit back at the Labour MP’s statements, saying: “Begum spent four years actively supporting ISIS, the world’s most barbaric and inhumane terrorist organisation.

“Her three children all died because she chose to bring them into the despicable world she chose for herself.

“To now blame Britain, the country she denounced, is disgusting.”
