THIS Morning viewers were left in hysterics as Holly said something very rude.
This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield spoke to Dr Scot, who had been spending time trying to rescue captured tigers.
As he spoke to the tiger, Holly and Phil explained what he was doing while he made a strange grunting noise.
Phillip explained he was “chuffing”, which is a non-threatening vocalisation which tigers do when they greet each other.
Holly couldn’t contain her excitement as she said she was going to try “chuffing her cat”, leaving viewers in hysterics.
Fans rushed to social media to laugh at the rude word, as one posted: “The gallery are taking the p*** aren’t they? “Yeah Holly say chuff, its definitely called chuffing. Say chuff on air.”
Another added: “Not my idea of chuff.”
A third wrote: “Holly and Phil, please stop saying chuffing, I’m crying,” attaching a rude alternative definition for the word, meaning “anal sex in the countryside”.
A fourth joked: “Careful , you can get an ASBO for chuffing with intent.”
Many other fans begged for the pair to stop saying the word as they couldn’t stop laughing at the innuendo.
Chuffing is also known as a mild expletive used in Northern England.
The pair later showed viewers trying to speak to their chats by chuffing, leading to some hilarious videos as one cat started drinking from the toilet.
This Morning continues tomorrow at 10.30am on ITV.
