In a 20 second video released by TMZ, comedian George Lopez is seen pretending to urinate while emptying a small bottle of water on President Donald Trump’s star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Lopez was in Hollywood on Tuesday and after chatting up fans, he found himself right in front of Trump’s marker, and decided to unload his water bottle on it.
This is not the first time Trump’s star is being targeted. In June 2017, the star was defaced with a slew of stickers depicting misogyny, corruption, homophobia and xenophobia during a march.
In May 2017, a golden toilet was placed right next to Trump’s star filled with something wet and seemingly gross. Law enforcement said the vandalism was not reported to them and hence no investigation was done regarding the prank.
In October 2016, the marker was completely destroyed with a pickaxe, with shrapnel flying everywhere. Sources from law enforcement said the vandal posed as a construction worker to fool people while he vandalized it.
According to deadline Hollywood, the vandal wanted to remove the star and auction it off to raise money for the legal defense of Trump accusers.
In June 2016, a man managed to spray-paint a mute sign on it. In July, a 6-inch high concrete wall was built around the star complete with tiny barbed wire.
Last year, Lopez was booed off stage at an event in Denver after an anti-Donald Trump joke fell flat with the audience.
The agitation began after Liberty Media CEO Greg Maffei, sitting in the front row, offered $250,000 and requested Lopez to cool it with the anti-Trump jokes.
“Thank you for changing my opinion on old white men, but it doesn’t change the way I feel about orange men,” Lopez reportedly said in response.
“George was asked nicely to stop making Trump jokes by a man in front row [Maffei] who just donated $250K.” But “George doesn’t, continues. Gets booed,” an attendee of the event said, Page Six reported.
“I guess you can get some Mexicans to do it cheaper and they wouldn’t crush the tunnels –underneath,” Lopez reportedly joked during the event while commenting about Trump’s proposed border wall with Mexico.
“Host of HUGE charity #CarouselBall, @georgelopez, makes political comments about Trump, drops f-bomb and is escorted out,” TV host Chris Parente posted on Twitter.
In 2015, Lopez led a crowd in an expletive-filled chant slamming Trump during a performance at the Phoenix Celebrity Theatre in Arizona.
“I’m not sure how people’s memories are but ‘Go Back To Where You came From’ Is a BOX most people can check!” the Mexican-American comedian tweeted in defense after the event, E news reported.
