‘Funeral DJ’ advert promising particular combine tape for mourners goes down a storm

SOCIAL MEDIA joker Sir Michael has launched a new money-making scheme – and it’s his funniest yet!

Ever thought about hiring a specialist funeral DJ to make that sad occasion go with a swing?

Yes? In that case veteran internet prankster Sir Michael has got a proposition for you.

The joker has delighted fans for years with his applications to join the Irish Olympic Team (roly-poly squad) and submissions to the Guinness Book of Records because he’s memorised Pi to two places.

His latest crazy effort is a long and detailed advert for his services as a funeral DJ… he promises a hear-rending mashup of Hanson’s Mmm-Bop and Celine Dion’s Titanic theme My Heart Will Go On as well as a controversial original number “He’s Dead And Someone Here JKilled Him” which would be sure to liven up even the dullest funeral.

Other services that Sir Michael offers include live close-up magic to distract bereaved relatives and a post-funeral friendship promise.

He thoughtfully stuck a cassette tape for potential customers who might like to listen to one of his DJ sets before booking. Assuming, of course, that they have a cassette player.

The sting in the tale of this hilarious advertisement is the next ad down – also from Michael – in which he reveals that he doesn’t actually have any DJ decks yet.

Reactions include @ChuckyProvolone saying “I hope someone close to me dies soon so I can hire you.”  and Suzanne B enthusing “I can tell this is going to be HUGE! Who wouldn’t want this at the funeral of their loved ones? I definitely would. At my next family funeral ( which shouldn’t be long now, granny is in her 90s), I’ll definitely be calling you!”

One Twitter user asked “But how are they supposed to get in touch with you? I’m glad you have such a good friend to lend you dj decks.” to which Sir Michael replies “I’ve included my contact details in a secret track at the end of my mixtape.”
