Emmerdale spoilers: Robert Sugden DEAD after shock collapse?

ROBERT Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) health will take a sudden turn for the worse tonight.

The much-loved Emmerdale character worryingly collapses, after days of searching for answers into Rebecca White’s (Emily Head) disappearance.

It is widely believed that Rebecca has been killed by her nephew Lachlan White (Thomas Atkinson).

But Emmerdale Rebecca is very much alive and in hospital.

Robert has refused to believe the mother of his son Seb is dead and has been desperately trying to track her down.

“Robert feels shocked and guilty at the fact that he should have clocked on over Lachlan much sooner”

Tonight, Robert continues the search for Rebecca, but he pushes himself to breaking point, putting his health in jeopardy.

Feeling the strain, Robert suddenly drops to the floor and suffers a seizure, leaving his family shaken.

Robert’s fiancée Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and his half-sister Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) are there at the time and Liv rushes to call the doctor.

Will Robert pull through, or is there something much more serious going on?

Robert’s one-man mission to find Rebecca has left him ill, but determined to find her for Seb’s sake and after meeting with Lachlan in prison, he’s feeling foolish for believing his story that she was in Wales.

“Robert feels shocked and guilty at the fact that he should have clocked on over Lachlan much sooner,” Robert actor Ryan revealed.

“Liv had tried to warn them that Lachlan was involved, so he feels guilty that he could have done something when he didn’t.

“He still has no idea what’s happened to Rebecca.

“She left so abruptly without Seb or saying goodbye, so it was very out of character. Looking back, Robert feels that he could have done more.”

Emmerdale airs at 7pm and 8pm tonight on ITV.
