KIM Tate (Claire King) made her presence known on Tuesday night, pulling up in an Aston Martin at Joe Tate’s (Ned Porteous) masquerade ball.
Emmerdale spoilers revealed Kim would wreak havoc in the Dales after two decades away – and last night she proved she’s only just getting warmed up.
The Emmerdale residents were left open-mouthed as she declared she was the true owner of Home Farm and they were celebrating her homecoming.
They all recognised the steely-faced blonde, all except Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), who later ended up clashing with Kim.
“Who’re you?” Charity asked.
“Me? I own the place,” Kim declared.
But still baffled, Charity asked again: “Sorry, who is this woman?”
Emmerdale viewers were left confused by the exchange, especially because she had a son with Kim’s stepson Chris Tate (Peter Amory).
However, Charity arrived in March 2000, while Kim left the Dales in January 1999.
“Wait, what the f***? How does Charity (or anyone it seems) not know who Kim Tate is?”
“Wouldn’t Charity have known Kim Tate?” one viewer asked.
“How is it that Kim and Charity don’t recognise each other?” added another.
And a third tweeted: “Wait, what the f***? How does Charity (or anyone it seems) not know who Kim Tate is?”
Kim has already started barking orders at Joe’s loyal right-hand man Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough), who she asked to kill him.
Graham couldn’t bring himself to do it though, sending him away with £100,000.
However, Joe was meant to marry Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) on that day and she was frantically looking for him after being stood up at the altar.
Emmerdale continues at 7pm and 8pm tonight on ITV.
