EastEnders to recruit secret Mitchell brother?

PHIL and Grant Mitchell (Steve McFadden and Ross Kemp) might have a secret sibling – that’s if Greg Wallace gets his way.

The MasterChef presenter revealed his love of EastEnders as he made a guest appearance on Loose Women.

Greg, 53, made a guest appearance on the ITV panel show today and met with Loose Women cast members Jane Moore, Stacey Solomon, Ruth Langsford and Linda Robson.

The London-born grocer was there to discuss his tour, but talk soon turned to his passion for acting.

“I’d love to be in EastEnders!” Greg announced.

“You could be a walk-on on the fruit and veg stall,” Linda suggested.

“That’s exactly what I thought,” he replied: “Do you know anything about acting?”

A few minutes passed and Jane then came up with the perfect way in for Greg.

She said: “You could be the missing Mitchell brother!”

Greg – who has children Tom and Libby – was thrilled with the idea and immediately broke out into his best EastEnders baddie impression.

Later, Greg opened up about married life, after getting hitched to fourth wife Anne-Marie Sterpini in August 2016.

At 32, Anne-Marie is 21 years Greg’s junior.

Anne-Marie’s mother has now moved in with the newlyweds and her father is on his way.

The Loose Women were surprised and asked how he was getting on, and Greg jokingly replied: “It’s okay, it’s nice to have someone my own age to talk to.”

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
