Coyotes’ road trek continues against Penguins in Pittsburgh

Outlook: The Arizona Coyotes (7-6-1) continue their road trip with a Saturday night game against the Pittsburgh Penguins (6-5-3) at PPG Paints Arena. … The Penguins have lost five straight games and most recently lost to the Washington Capitals, 2-1, on Wednesday. … Coyotes head coach Rick Tocchet won two Stanley Cups as an assistant coach with the Penguins in 2016 and 2017. … This is the first of two meetings this season between the Coyotes and Penguins, who will travel to Arizona on Jan. 18. … The Coyotes were 0-2-0 against the Penguins last season and hold an all-time 12-27 record on the road in Pittsburgh. … The Penguins are led in scoring by Evgeni Malkin with 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists) and Sidney Crosby with 15 points (seven goals, eight assists).
