CORONATION Street’s Alan Halsall has reportedly found love with a former co-star.
The Coronation Street cast member, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, is said to be dating Tisha Merry, who used to play Steph Britton in the ITV soap.
However, it’s claimed Alan Halsall is refusing to speak out about the relationship.
Alan, 36, has posed with Tisha, 25, on his Instagram page, however hasn’t let on that there is anything romantic going on.
Despite this, it’s claimed he has told relatives, and close Corrie pals they are getting close.
“He absolutely deserves to be happy and all his friends and family are overjoyed for him”
The pair were also said to have been spotted taking a romantic trip in Anglesey this week.
The rumoured romance comes after Alan was left devastated after he split from wife Lucy Jo Hudson last year.
Lucy-Jo, 35, also starred in Corrie between 2002-2005 as character Katy Harris.
The former couple share five-year-old daughter Sienna-Rae Halsall together.
An insider said: “Alan has been through a really tough time but he’s never moaned or groaned and has kept his dignity throughout.
“But now he’s happy again and spending a lot of time with Tisha.”
The source continued telling The Sun: “He absolutely deserves to be happy and all his friends and family are overjoyed for him.”
Following the split from Lucy-Jo, Alan has been getting down the gym for gruelling workout sessions.
It’s claimed this is where he bonded with Tisha, as they use the same Manchester gym.
Alan has starred on Tyrone on Corrie since 1998, meanwhile Tisha appeared as Steph between 2013-2018.
Daily Star Online has contacted reps of Alan and Tish for comment.
