CHELSEA will not finish in the top four this season despite rescuing a late point against Wolves.
That’s the scathing prediction made by former England international Gary Lineker.
Eden Hazard fired in a late equaliser to spare Chelsea’s blushes against Wolves at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
Raul Jimenez bundled home the opener after a stunning counter attack and the visitors looked set to complete a famous double after winning the reverse fixture at Molineux.
But Hazard netted his 16th goal of the season to earn a vital point in the race for Champions League football.
“Will that be enough to help them secure a top 4 place? Rather doubt it.”

Chelsea remain sixth in the table, hot on the heels of Arsenal and Manchester United who go head-to-head at the Emirates today.
However, Lineker isn’t convinced Chelsea will have enough to land a top-four finish.
“Brilliant goal from @hazardeden10 salvages a point for @ChelseaFC,” he tweeted.
“But will that be enough to help them secure a top 4 place? Rather doubt it.”
Chelsea are now unbeaten in their last three Premier League matches and they’ll be keen to build on their momentum ahead of the season run-in.
And despite securing a draw late on in the game, Maurizio Sarri insists his side deserved all three points.
“I think that we made a lot of mistakes but we deserved to win,” he said.
“The first situation inside our box, the first and the last, we were unlucky for that but we need to improve in attacking way when the team defend deep with 11 players.
“We needed to move faster, without the ball and in the space behind the line.
“We played with five touches, that is difficult to score.
“A very physical team and we need to improve.
“Hazard is a great player, he can resolve the situation in every moment.
“During the other match he was like the other players, he needs more movement.”
