Casteel receiver Kyheem Waleed commits to Boise State

Queen Creek Casteel now has three football players from its first senior class to commit to play football at a Division I college.

Wide receiver Kyheem Waleed has committed to Boise State.

Quarterback Gunner Cruz was the first Casteel player to commit to a Div. I when he gave Washington State a verbal in the summer.

Offensive lineman Brandon Babcock followed with his commitment to Yale.

Waleed, 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, has caught 25 passes for 447 yards and four TDs for the 9-2 Colts, who plays Gilbert Higley on Friday night in the 5A state quarterfinals.
