Boy, 15, charged with homicide after 17-year-old stabbed to dying in broad daylight

A BOY has been charged with murder following the stabbing of a teenager in Fulham.

The teen, who cannot be named legally, was arrested after Ayub Hassan was killed in west London.
The 17-year-old, from Shepherd’s Bush, was found with stab wounds to his chest in Lanfrey Place, West Kensington, on Thursday afternoon.
A family friend earlier paid tribute to him as a “kind and handsome” boy who hoped to become a barrister.

Cops said his next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination is due to take place on Sunday.

Family friend Amina Osman revealed the stabbing was “the fourth attempt on his life”, and that Ayub had previously been found unconscious in a park, run over and had been stabbed on another occasion.

She said: “He had ambitions, he was looking forward to being a barrister. He was looking forward to being a grown-up man. He was good with his words, he was very kind and handsome.”

The 15-year-old charged with his murder will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Scotland Yard said three other men were arrested as part of the police investigation.

A 17-year-old has been bailed pending further inquiries to a date in mid-April.

Two people, aged 18 and 15, have been released with no further action.
