A PLANE with 12 people on board crashed near San Carlos de Guaroa and San Martín in Colombia, leaving no survivors.
Local media EITB said there have been no survivors of the horror crash.
The crashed aircraft is a DC-3 and belonged to the airline Laser.
Before the crash, the plane declared an emergency.
The civil aviation agency confirmed in a statement that there were no survivors of the crash, which occurred after the DC-3 aircraft made a distress call at 10:40am local time, but said it was working to identify and count those killed.
The Douglas DC-3 aircraft is a twin-engine propeller plane that was first produced in the 1930s.
It crashed in the centre-east of the country on a flight between San Jose del Guaviare and Villavicencio.
The airline said it had no immediate comment.
It is not immediately clear why the plane crashed.
