supperclub, the world-famous address for exquisite fine dining, artistic entertainment and sensational hospitality from Amsterdam, Holland, is soon to open its first venue in Dubai.

A creative restaurant and lounge concept, the Middle East's first supperclub, set in the luxurious Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, is being brought to the region by supperclub Middle East Facilities Management LLC in collaboration with Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.

The Dubai outlet follows the footsteps of famed venues in Amsterdam, Istanbul, San Francisco, Los Angeles and London, each rooted in the respective city's artistic expression with cutting edge art, fine dining and spectacular entertainment.

The dramatic two floored design, by award-winning Concrete Architectural Associates, offers six dining and entertainment options where guests can indulge in experimental dishes from famed Head Chef Dom Robinson. The dine-in venues include the chef’s tables, 'Salle Neige' and gold room 'Salle d’Or' while vivacious beverages are served from the sumptuous ‘Balcony Noir’ bar and ‘Bar rouge’ with sweeping ocean views from the alfresco terrace.

The choreographed entertainment, set amidst the fine dining ambience, will range from aerial and acrobatic artists, inspiring musicians and showcases by international and local creative talent, all designed to stimulate the senses.

Jumeirah announces Valentine's celebrations

Jumeirah's luxury hotels in Dubai are offering several exciting and elegant experiences this Valentine's Day, including exclusive room offers, yacht cruises, spa packages and romantic beach dinners.

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray has created a unique collection of Valentine's Day experiences. The packages include Beach Romance for a special evening with a limousine transfer, a five-course meal in a private beach gazebo and a dedicated butler, a bouquet of roses and a special gift hamper.

Burj Al Arab ushers in the Year of the Snake

Burj Al Arab is expecting a peak in Chinese visitors for Chinese New Year, starting from 10 February 2013.

In the last three years, the ease of securing UAE visas has helped attract a record number of Chinese tourists and businesspeople to the UAE and many have made Burj Al Arab their prime destination. Contributing to this success, the hotel's authentic Far East Asian dining destination, Junsui, is drawing on the expertise of Chef Foong to create a week-long, celebratory experience for the Year of the Snake.

"Chinese visitors are among the top three fastest-growing guest segments for Burj Al Arab. Our experience in meeting the needs of these guests, as well as the insight of our Chinese colleagues, has enabled the hotel to create memorable offerings and celebratory moments for occasions such as Chinese New Year," said Heinrich Morio, General Manager for Burj Al Arab. "For Chinese travellers coming to Dubai, Burj Al Arab has become a must-visit destination and the place to celebrate the most significant occasions."

To launch its Chinese New Year celebrations, Burj Al Arab will project a massive red calligraphic serpent artwork on the sail-shaped exterior to welcome the Year of the Snake.

On the evening of 10 February, the hotel will host Chinese dignitaries and their families to witness the traditional lighting of the lion’s eyes to initiate a series of traditional lion dances. To the accompaniment of the Chinese zither music, Chinese delicacies hand-selected by Chef Foong will be served from live cooking stations, while children's Chinese craft activities will entertain the younger guests. The celebrations will continue for one week in Junsui, with traditional dishes including Fa Gao (Chinese-style cupcakes) and Nian Gao (New Year cake) served alongside Dim Sum and Peking Duck.

Jumeirah at Etihad Towers launches 'Chill and Grill' Friday brunch

Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, operated by the global luxury hotel company Jumeirah Group, has officially launched its 'Chill and Grill' Friday brunch. With a focus on fresh gourmet experiences in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere, the Friday brunch is held at the hotel’s popular Nahaam restaurant, providing guests with both indoor and extensive al fresco dining options as well as live,interactive cooking stations, carveries, seafood and shellfish bars, three grill stations and a dessert and artisan cheese counter.

Nahaam Restaurant, located at Podium Level 1 of the Abu Dhabi hotel, offers beach views and poolside dining areas. Jumeirah signs agreement for 'the noodle house' in Kenya

Jumeirah Restaurants LLC, the dedicated branded restaurant division within the Jumeirah Group, has announced the signing of a licensing agreement with Global Hotels Management Africa LLC that will take its key growth brand, the noodle house, to Kenya.

The agreement was signed between Phil Broad, Managing Director of Jumeirah Restaurants LLC, and Masood Hashim, CEO of Global Hotels Management Africa Ltd. It will see seven noodle house restaurants opening in Kenya over the next five years. The first noodle house restaurant is set to open its doors in Nairobi in early 2013 followed by a location in Mombasa.

The noodle house's move into Kenya is in response to a growing demand for great quality restaurants in the market and the noodle house sits perfectly in the casual dining segment of the territory.

The noodle house serves delicious South East Asian cuisine in an informal yet stylish environment that takes inspiration from the food and nightlife of exciting cities such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok and Jakarta.

Burj Al Arab to sell exclusive 24-carat rose gold iPad to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness

Burj Al Arab, the world's most luxurious hotel, is launching the Pinking Burj Al Arab campaign in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The highlight of the Pinking Burj Al Arab campaign is the exclusive one-of-a-kind 24-carat rose gold iPad created especially for the cause, with an engraved pink ribbon and the hotel's logo, available only at Burj Al Arab.

"Gold & Co. London is thrilled to be working with Burj Al Arab to support such an extremely worthy cause," said Amjad Ali, CEO of Gold & Co. London. "This 24-carat rose gold iPad is the most unique product on the market. Chinoiserie at Jumeirah Carlton Tower continues its partnership with Eric Lanlard by unveiling its new 'I Love Paris' afternoon tea. The tantalising menu, inspired by the master patissier's favourite city, is the third installment in the 'Afternoon Tea by Eric Lanlard' series.

The 'I Love Paris' menu will feature classic French staples: brioche, macaroons and mini eclairs, all of which Eric Lanlard has elegantly re-invented to bring a touch of Parisian chic to Chinoiserie. Jumeirah Emirates Towers celebrates 10th anniversary of The Vertical Marathon

Jumeirah Emirates Towers, in association with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and in collaboration with the Red Crescent Society, is proud to announce details of one of Dubai’s most popular fundraising events - The Vertical Marathon.

Hundreds of men, women and children will ascend 265 metres up 1,334 stairs to the top of the 52 floor office tower at Jumeirah Emirates Towers on Friday, April 13th.

Organisers of the event, which has raised a total of AED 1,086,493 since its inception in 2002, have plans to make 2012 the most successful yet raising the largest amount of funds in the history of The Vertical Marathon.

Registration details can be found at www.dubaiverticalmarathon.org where participants are asked to make a minimum pledge of AED 500 per adult and AED 350 per child (17 and below), inclusive of a breakfast buffet. The registration deadline is 11th April 2012.

Ross McAuley has been appointed as Vice President of Brand Marketing for Jumeirah Group. He joined Jumeirah Group in 2007, initially responsible for Marketing and Innovation across the whole of the Madinat Jumeirah Resort. Then, as Director of Marketing in Dubai, he successfully led the central marketing function for Jumeirah's hotels and resorts in Dubai, including 70 restaurants and bars, convention and meeting facilities. Before joining Jumeirah, Ross held marketing and brand management positions for Sony UK in London and DHL Express Middle East based in Bahrain. A Scottish national, Ross has a degree in Law from Aberdeen University in Scotland. This victory has secured McIlroy the number 1 position in the Official World Golf Ranking for the very first time.

Rory McIlroy moved to the top of the world rankings after winning the Honda Classic in Florida. In capturing his second PGA Tour title, the 22 year-old showed great resolve, dropping only one shot in a final round of 69 for a 12-under-par total. This kept him two shots clear of the chasing field including a superb final day charge from Tiger Woods who shot 62 to share second place.

Jumeirah to operate luxury resort on Bali

Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, has signed a management agreement with PT Asia Pasifik Properti to operate a luxury resort on the island of Bali, Indonesia. The resort will be known as Jumeirah Bali and is expected to open in 2015.

Jumeirah Bali, located on the southern tip of the exclusive Jimbaran District, will look out onto the pristine sands of the renowned Dreamland surfer's beach and is adjacent to Bali's exclusive New Kuta Golf Course. Consisting of 80 spacious hotel suites and 25 private villas, and set amidst lush, tropical gardens, Jumeirah Bali will feature architectural designs reflective of Bali's rich cultural heritage and modelled after an ancient Javanese-Hindu water palace.

Jumeirah Bali will offer a variety of fine international and local cuisines in three restaurants. It will offer Jumeirah's signature Talise Spa and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. The resort will also feature an exclusive cliff-top wedding venue that captures stunning sunset views. A fully equipped business centre complete with meeting rooms and the latest communications technology will enable Jumeirah Bali to cater to both upscale corporate and leisure guests.

Jumeirah has announced that the noodle house, the flagship brand of Jumeirah Restaurants LLC serving cuisines from South-East Asia, has been awarded Superbrand status for 2012.

The Superbrand status is assigned to a company or a brand based on market dominance, quality, trust, longevity, goodwill, customer loyalty and market acceptance. The Superbrands organisation, which began in 1994 and analyses the history and strength of different brands in over 87 countries, is universally commended for being an arbiter of branding excellence.

The noodle house was voted a Superbrand by the Superbrands Council which consists of eminent industry figures including Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade, Colm McLoughlin, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, and Laila Sohail, CEO, Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment.

Among the New Year's Eve packages available is the 'Midnight Revels' package in which guests can ring in the New Year over a 6-course menu served in the swanky Gladstone Library overlooking the midnight fireworks display at the London Eye.
