A father from Hampshire – jailed for the attempted murder of four children – has had his sentence increased by 10 years.
29-year-old Owen Scott from Fawley was jailed for life after attacking his three children and stepdaughter with a hammer. The drug user then drove his car into a pub wall at 90mph.
Today, the Solicitor General won an appeal against the original sentence – claiming it was too lenient. Richard Slee reports from the Court of Appeal in London.
