Sj Woman Arrested On Suspicion Of Hit-And-Run



A San Jose woman turned herself in to police after allegedly striking a man in a hit-and-run collision on Tuesday morning, Santa Clara police said.

Angelica Rodriguez, 50, of Alviso in north San Jose, was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run resulting in injury and booked into Santa Clara County Jail, according to police. Rodriguez turned herself some time during the morning of the collision, police said.

The collision happened on Tuesday at 7:18 a.m. on Duane Avenue near Kenneth Street in Santa Clara, according to police. The man had just stepped out of his parked car when he was hit by a Chevrolet Trailblazer traveling east on Duane Avenue, police said. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition
