Crystal Palace have handed trials to Southampton defender Richard Bakary.
The 20-year-old is out of contract at St Mary’s this summer and is exploring his options moving forward, says the Croydon Advertiser.
Palace have stepped in and given the Benin international a chance to impress in the next few weeks.
Bakary, who was capped for the first time by his country a year ago, started Palace’s development squad game against Cardiff City at Selhurst Park this lunchtime.
He joined Southampton from Chelsea’s academy four years ago.
