Friendships Flourish in “Amanchu! Advance” TV Anime Trailer


ED theme performer revealed for 2nd season of adaptation based on Kozue Amano’s scuba diving manga


Amanchu! Advance, the 2nd season of the TV anime adaptation based on Kozue Amano’s Amanchu! scuba diving manga, is returning to Japanese airwaves beginning on April 07, 2018, and now a new preview video has been published has been published for the light-hearted series.



The new preview video samples “Hello Hello” by Maaya Sakamoto, the ending theme of Amanchu! Advance.



The original Amanchu! manga is serialized in Mag Garden’s Monthly Comic Blade shōnen manga magazine. The 1st season of Amanchu! is available via streaming on Crunchyroll, who describe the story as follows:


It is spring, the season of great changes. Hikari Kohinata is an overwhelmingly cheerful and outgoing 15-year-old girl who has spent all her life in a small and beautiful seaside town on the Izu peninsula. On the first day of high school, she meets Futaba Oki, a slightly introverted girl who has just moved from Tokyo. Before she knows it, Futaba gets dragged along into Hikari’s passion for scuba diving. And from there, Futaba gradually starts to come out of her shell, and learns how to take challenges and dive into the ocean of life.


Amanchu! Advance is directed by Junichi Sato and Seiko Sayama and features animation by J.C. Staff. The series kicks off on AT-X on April 07, 2018, with additional broadcasts to follow on Tokyo MX and BS11.
