Erik Lamela hailed Tottenham’s character in their fight-back at Champions League opponents Juventus.
Spurs saw Juve go 2-0 up inside the opening ten minutes before Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen struck to have the scoreline at 2-2 for the first-leg.
Lamela told RMC: “It was difficult in the first ten minutes, they hurt us, but from there we looked at eachother in the eyes and decided that it could not end like that.
“The possession of the ball helped us a lot and the 2-1 goal gave us confidence to be able to equalize.
“We had a great game, we have great confidence in ourselves, we watch the videos, it is true, but even after the double disadvantage we did not disunite.”
