Arsenal boss Wenger warns Spurs they’re comfortable at Wembley

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says they’re confident facing Tottenham at Wembley today.

Arsenal have a remarkable recent record at Wembley, winning nine of their last 11 visits (including shoot-outs) and Wenger believes they can transfer that into the Tottenham game even if it is their temporary home.

It is a great run and Wenger believes that is largely down to Arsenal having a big match mentality because they have been under pressure to win cup finals and semi finals.

Wenger said: “We had that kind of pressure many times, even when you walk out and the trophy stands up there, you know you have to go home with it.

“That is always the real pressure and overall, us wanting to come back in the Premier League it is a little bit similar.”
