Watford striker Richarlison has explained why he was in tears during their victory over Chelsea.
The Brazilian youngster was hauled off by new boss, Javi Gracia, with the Hornets leading the reigning champions 1-0.
And television cameras focused on a tearful Richarlison sitting on the home bench after he was replaced by Roberto Pereyra in the second half of the game.
It was unclear at the time why the 20-year-old was sobbing, but he later explained the reason.
He told ESPN Brazil: “I was crying because I wanted to play and help by team-mate, but in the end the guy that entered the pitch did the job well so it’s all okay.”
